to assist golf merchandisers with planning inventory and
sales, buying strategies, merchandise management, visual
presentation, promotions/events and more!

The AGM maintains a list of golf related employment opportunities.
Listings are free for members.
- Scholarship Fund
The AGM awards scholarships annually to qualified merchandising
students who plan to pursue a career in golf merchandising.
- Educational Events
Two annual, all-day retail conferences are held the day
before the PGA merchandise shows. The AGM also offers golf
merchandising seminars/workshops on a variety of retail-related
topics throughout the year. Vendor partners contribute expertise
on product knowledge, trends and merchandise techniques.

- Buying Incentives
AGM vendor partners offer incentives including closeouts,
product with purchase, discounts and more!
- Newsletters
Members receive a monthly issue of the AGM eTailer, the e-newsletter. The eTailer is filled with golf merchandising ideas, statistics, & industry trends.
- Statistical Information
Through an annual survey of merchandiser members, the AGM
provides statistics on compensation, buying habits and golf
merchandise sales such as average sales, dollar-per-round
and dollar-per-square foot exclusively to members.
- Continuing Education
PGA/LPGA members who attend AGM-sponsored events receive
continuing education credits.
- Merchandiser
Golf professionals, assistants, buyers/merchandisers, specialty
golf shop owners, club managers/club owners who are directly
involved in the buying/selling of merchandise at a golf
retail operation. Annual dues are $225.
- Associate Merchandiser
Individuals who work at the same golf retail operation as
an AGM Merchandiser member. Annual dues are $100.
- Student
Merchandising students enrolled in an accredited college
or university. Annual dues are $100.
- Affiliate
Vendor partners/suppliers to the golf industry. Annual dues
are $450 with a one-time initiation fee of $1000.
