Assistant Merchandiser

• Works closely with Club Retail Buyer to provide exceptional service to all members and guests
• Receiving and pricing merchandise into inventory
• Keeping store rooms organized
• Assist in making sure proper inventory levels are maintained in all retail shops
• Place, monitor, and follow through on special orders via Golf Genius
• Assist at member events
• Assist in training team members about new merchandise and selling best practices
• Assist Club Retail Buyer and Golf Professionals in tee gift selections for major tournaments
• Assist the Club Retail Buyer to identify the right product mix and selection each buying season
• Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month
• Stay up to date on fashion industry trends through seminars and conferences
• Assist in creating appealing visual displays to enhance sales at all retail shops
• Ensure all vendor accounts are settled in a timely manner via monthly statements and working closing with accounting
• Assist in golf shops when coverage is needed
• Must increase Soft Good revenue in all retail shops
• Keep retail shop teams informed on when new merchandise is expected to arrive
• Communicate & Update Head Golf Professionals on work activities
• Assist Club Retail Buyer in creating new revenue opportunities

• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• 1 year of merchandising experience required
