Regional Merchandise Manager Asst Buyer- The Clubs of Dove Mountain

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assist the National Director of Retail in the organization, planning and execution of merchandising platform inclusive of golf, corporate and tournament retail

·         Create visually pleasing displays to include both softgoods and hardgoods in the golf shops and sports shop and rotate on a regular basis in order to maintain freshness.

·         Utilize sales reports to maintain effective inventory levels and initiate re-orders or markdowns, communicate trends etc

·         Conduct monthly inventory counts and ensure procedures are followed and variances investigated according to HP/GM financial expectations.

·         Ensures stockrooms are kept clean, organized and up to code.

·         Coordinate and run all mobile pro shops, billing, follow ups etc for all outside tournaments

·         Handle all tournament package retail orders and execution and distribution at time of tournament

·         Train, motivate and educate golf shop staff on new products and upcoming trends and promotions.

·         Assist Director of Retail in execution of yearly and seasonal promotional plan.

·         Perform all back of house retail responsibilities including managing receiving procedures, tagging and stocking all merchandise, reconciliation of payables, invoices and PCard

·         Execute all special orders in a timely manner to ensure top quality member experience

·         Coordinate periodic trunk shows/pop up shops in line with regional/local retail trends

·         Initiate and coordinate all member tournament merchandise sales
