Director Of Retail

BA degree; minimum 3 years in retail buying and merchandising experience in a golf or resort shop required. Responsible for the overall golf shopping experience and merchandise selection by understanding, analyzing and forecasting golf merchandise buying trends, fashion interests and preferences; researches and reviews product lines; selects and orders merchandise; manages employees, warehouse, store and on-line inventory; excellent communication and problem solving skills. Requires working and practical knowledge of OTB (Open-to-Buy) systems for Inventory management, and merchandising. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Windows, point-of-sale and inventory software. Possesses strong organizational, planning, prioritization, problem solving and negotiating skills.
