Golf Shop Merchandiser Manager

Website Mountain Air Country Club

Overview:

Mountain Air Country Club was developed by the Banks and the Young families, who for many generations have called Yancey County and Slickrock Mountain their home.

Beyond the bonds of kinship, these families were united by a common vision: To build a uniquely magnificent mountaintop community and private country club.
The Mountain Air vision began to take flight in the mid-1980s, with plans to build a mountaintop runway and some homesites. But the developer saw the opportunity for something bigger —something truly magical. They envisioned a mountaintop community that exuded a deep sense of belonging, sustained the mountain’s heritage of family togetherness, and reflected its founders’ profound respect for the natural beauty all around it. True to their vision, they persisted and by doing so they changed lives and made history.
