The Tree Farm is a destination club with 5-Star lodging and Food and Beverage Operations. We will operate from September – June, and the golf course will be closed for maintenance throughout the July & August months. We will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year with paid time off for our team members.

The Merchandise Manager is passionate about merchandising, presentation, department planning, and delivering exceptional service to our members. Manage and lead all retail initiatives at The Tree Farm
● Work closely with vendors regarding new styles and trends and leverage
relationships to enhance profitability.
● Responsible for the selection and flow of merchandise from start to finish, including
receiving merchandise into Jonas to pricing, displaying, and actively selling products.
● Attend merchandise shows and educational/professional seminars to encourage
development and enhance The Tree Farm’s image.
● Facilitate and coordinate all uniform purchases for The Tree Farm team members.
Oversee the process from start to finish, from the initial order to invoice payment
processing.
● Oversee and implement special merchandise events, including but not limited to
trunk shows, themed events, holiday sales, and special programs.
● Collaborate with the Director of Golf and staff in managing and buying hard goods
(clubs, balls, and gloves) for the shop
● Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure the proper cost of goods and
inventory. Supply departments with all necessary reports.
● Manage monthly Jonas reporting for the buying plan
● Align merchandising strategies with anticipated demand for $2.5-3 million volume

● Lead Inventories and spot-check inventories throughout the year.

Minimum
● Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or (5) Five years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Experience: 3-4 years golf merchandising is required
● Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions
● Ability to work with little or no supervision
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Understanding of merchandise finances and awareness of impact to business
● Flexible work schedule (e.g…, evenings, weekends, and holidays) and regular attendance.
● A love for and experience in the game of golf
● Passion for customer experience, team development, and brand alignment.
● Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
