The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) has officially opened applications for the 2027 AGM Platinum Awards, including both the Top 100 Golf Shops recognition and the International Merchandiser of the Year Award. Each year, this program celebrates the very best in golf retail, honoring shops and individuals who continue to elevate the standard of excellence across the industry.

At the heart of the AGM Platinum Awards is a simple but powerful goal: to spotlight innovation, creativity, and performance in golf retail environments around the world. From elevated visual merchandising to exceptional member and guest experiences, this program recognizes the shops and professionals who are shaping what modern golf retail looks like today.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, August 7, 2026, and can be submitted online through this link.

Recognizing the Top 100 and the “Best of the Best”

Open to private clubs, resorts, public facilities, and off-course retailers, the Top 100 Golf Shops program highlights outstanding retail operations across the globe. Participants are encouraged to share meaningful metrics, compelling visuals, and thoughtful narratives that showcase their shop’s impact, performance, and evolution. Within this prestigious group, an even more exclusive distinction is awarded—the Top 10 “Best of the Best.”

These top 10 shops represent the highest level of achievement in golf retail, showcasing best-in-class execution across merchandising strategy, presentation, financial performance, and overall customer experience. Earning a place in this group signifies a shop that is not only operating at a high level, but consistently redefining what excellence looks like within the industry.

International Merchandiser of the Year

Now in its second year, the International Merchandiser of the Year Award recognizes individual professionals who are driving innovation and leadership within their retail programs. Honorees are selected for their creativity, strategic thinking, and commitment to delivering outstanding retail experiences.

AGM membership is required for consideration in this individual category, underscoring the organization’s focus on community, education, and professional development within golf merchandising.

Applicants may choose to apply for one or both categories. The Top 100 Golf Shops award recognizes facilities, while the International Merchandiser of the Year Award honors personal achievement. Participation in the facility category is not required for individual consideration, and multiple individuals from the same facility are welcome to apply.

Why Enter the AGM Platinum Awards?

Facilities and merchandisers selected for recognition receive:

  • Recognition as one of the Top 100 Golf Shops in the world, 2027
  • National and international exposure through AGM publications and marketing campaigns
  • Opportunities to showcase creativity, strategy, and retail success to the broader golf industry
  • Industry recognition among golf professionals, retail leaders, and brand partners

Looking Ahead to 2027

Winners will be celebrated during the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, where the Top 10 Best of the Best facilities will be revealed alongside the Cashman Award for Visual Excellence.
