Continuing education is one of the best investments a golf retail professional can make. Thanks to the generosity of RepSpark, five AGM members will have the opportunity to earn their AGM Certified Retail Manager (CRM) certification through a fully funded scholarship.
Announced at the 2026 PGA Buying Summit alongside RepSpark’s strategic alignment with the PGA of America, the scholarship reflects a shared belief that the strongest investment in golf retail is in the people driving it. Together, the two organizations are working to elevate how retail professionals connect, manage inventory, and grow their facilities.
“We’re deepening our commitment to the golf industry, and this scholarship is a direct expression of what we believe that commitment can provide,” said Meghann Butcher, Founder and CEO of RepSpark. “AGM’s education programs give golf retailers the knowledge and tools to become stronger business leaders, which simultaneously produces more effective wholesale relationships for RepSpark brands. We’re proud to put our name behind a program that does exactly that, and we hope this opens a door for someone who’s ready to invest in themselves.”
About the AGM Certified Retail Manager Program
More than a credential, the CRM Program is a hands-on learning experience that equips participants with merchandising expertise and business leadership skills they can apply throughout their careers.
The curriculum covers topics including inventory planning, merchandising, marketing, financial performance, leadership, customer experience, and vendor relationships. Throughout the program, participants complete practical projects that can be applied directly within their own golf shops, allowing them to turn classroom concepts into real-world results.
Graduates earn the AGM Certified Retail Manager designation while gaining skills they can immediately apply to their facilities and retail operations.
“The Certified Retail Manager Program was created to help golf merchandisers build confidence and strengthen their business skills as leaders,” said Justine Cook, Director of Membership & Education for the Association of Golf Merchandisers. “Scholarships help make continuing education more accessible, giving more professionals the opportunity to invest in their careers. We appreciate RepSpark’s support and its recognition of the value of professional development.”
Building on a Strong Partnership
This scholarship initiative continues the growing relationship between RepSpark and AGM, which began in 2021 through the Better Together partnership. Earlier this year, RepSpark was recognized as a Platinum-Level AGM Vendor Partner, reflecting its ongoing commitment to supporting the golf retail community.
As AGM continues to provide education, networking, and professional development opportunities for golf merchandisers, partnerships like this help make those opportunities more accessible to professionals across the industry.
